Cristina Khuly is an award-winning sculptor and filmmaker. She has exhibited her sculptures in many galleries and museums. Her directorial debut, Shoot Down, won the 2007 Best Documentary prize at the Sonoma Valley Film Festival. Cristina, together with Douglas Eger, produced two documentaries, War Dance and How to Survive a Plague that went on to be nominated for academy awards. Cristina is a passionate environmentalist and, in partnership with Douglas, preserved the nearly 7,000-acre Lundy Estate in upstate New York and continues to develop land conservation projects.

Cristina was educated at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island and received her B.F.A. in Sculpture from Florida International University in Miami in 1994.
